Rose Krohn Epps- was raised in Oklahoma and
graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a B.S. in Mathematics.
Rose moved to Austin in 1994 after retiring from a 30-year career with SBC. She
has since been an active volunteer in the Austin community and has pursued her
love of photography. Her work includes
B&W chemical darkroom, color slides, and she is now learning the digital medium
with two new Canon SLR’s and Adobe Photoshop. Her interests include documentary
images, travel and landscapes (esp. infrared), old buildings, macro flowers, and
of course--Texas wildflowers! She is a member of several Austin photographer
groups as well as Texas Photographic Society and has participated in numerous
exhibits with these groups. She has been a volunteer photographer for the
Central Texas Heart Gallery for the past three years, and this spring
participated in “Austin Animal Attraction,” an exhibit at Austin Bergstrom
Airport promoting the adoption of pets.
Ann Gardner- If sixty is the new forty,
I'm turning 40 this month. I'm celebrating by crossing two items off my life
list: buying a old home to remodel and move into, and signing up for the Danskin
triathalon. I encourage my psychology clients to take similar risks: to change
things in their inner and outer worlds to make their lives more satisfying. I
got a Ph.D. in clinical psych in my forties and then went into solo practice.
Although I love the richness of long-term depth psychology--I've been President
of both the Capital Area Psychological Association and the Jung Society of
Austin--I generally use cognitive-behavioral techniques to treat anxiety
and depressive disorders, including bipolar. (Insurance companies won't pay for
long-term analysis, and most clients want more rapid change.) I also
encourage clients to find something besides their profession to be passionate
about. My passion is photography; I spend weekends and vacations doing
wildlife and travel photography.

Stephanie
Duprie Routh
Stephanie Duprie Routh received her Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M
University with a major in Architecture and a minor in Art and Architectural
History. She completed the first year of a two-year MBA program at Sam Houston
State University but found it to be quite boring and therefore never completed
the coursework for an actual degree. Stephanie has worked as an architect, a
land planner and a community development director for both the public and
private sectors. She currently is a CEO, directing a quite diverse operation
which includes a very immature and untrained staff. Often, Stephanie also
assumes the title of CFO (managing the books), Secretary (scheduling, etc),
Chauffer of the CEO and staff, and at times even Janitor or Master Gardener.
(To those not "in the know", her title is also known as 'stay at home mom' of
three.) Photography is hers to enjoy outside the workplace. It is her outlet
for creative energies and her portal through which she recharges. Stephanie has
shown work in Arte Sagrado, the Heart Gallery of Central Texas, and various and
sundry places with and without the Texas Documentary Photographers.
